The President, Taxpayer’s Association of Nigeria (TAPAN), Comrade Obinna Okafor has led a delegation to one of Nigeria’s first-class traditional ruler, Etsu Nupe, Alh. Yahaya Abubakar in the association’s quest to using elder statemen to caution politicians to desist from continuous neglect of Nigerian roads, project abandonment and unstable power supply that are hindering development of the country.

Comrade Obinna who spoke eloquently while addressing the monarch in his Abuja resident admonished the government and reiterated that bad roads, unstable power supply and abandoned projects are the major problem of Nigeria as a country and until leaders are being cautioned by those they respect in the society, there wont be change or development as yearned for.

Obinna added that the association is passionate about the plights of Nigerians and how the tax they pay are being used to better their lives noting that if the taxpayer’s money is channeled and executed properly, no soul will die to road crash or no power for the entrepreneur to be useful to his/herself and be regular in paying tax.

Okafor stressed and solicited for the support of Nigeria monarchs to reach out to their sons/daughter in power to always be responsible and save lives from road crashes due to either bad or abandoned road contract awarded with taxpayer’s money.
