The Benue State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has commended the Minister of Finance, Mrs Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, for appointing Benue indigene as her Special Adviser on Media and Communications.

The APC Chairman of the state, Comrade Abba Yaro, who gave the commendation today in a letter written to the minister in Abuja, particularly commended the minister for appointing Mr. Paul Ella Abechi as her Special Adviser on Media and Communications.

Yaro however lauded the minister’s efforts in the prudent management of the nation’s finances which he said has led to the transformation of Nigeria’s economy and improved security.

He said, “We write to sincerely appreciate your kind gesture in appointing our son, brother and active member of our great party, Mr. Paul Ella Abechi as your Special Adviser on Media and Communications.

“The Benue State Chapter of the APC also wishes to identify with your dynamic leadership especially your prudent management of the nation’s finances which has led to the transformation of our economy and improved security.

“We pray God to continue to guide and protect you as you work with the best brain even at the Next level. Accept the assurances of our commitment and appreciation,” he said.

It would be recalled that Mr Abechi, resigned as the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Abuja Chapter, before accepting his appointment as the media aide to the Minister of Finance.
