The U-17 male football team coach Manu Garba says a comprehensive training programme is in place to ensure qualification for the next year’s U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
Garba who disclosed this in Abuja told in Abuja on Tuesday say that the team had been working very hard since June.
According to him, 3,000 participated in the screening for the qualification and that the successful players are now in camp to prepare for their encounter with Niger in August.
Brickswrites reports that the first leg of the qualifier is scheduled for the weekend of August 5th to 7th in Niger and the re-match in Nigeria a forth night later.
