Rivers State Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie has been nominated as Nigeria’s Philanthropy Hero of the Year, 2019.

The lawmaker who has done remarkable well in serving the fortunate people of Ahoada East Constituency-2 whom he represents at the state Assembly is qualify for this prestigious accolade due to his benevolence in academy pursuits for his people.

In his Education Support Initiative, Rt. Hon. Edison has seen many youths from his constituency through school from the purchase of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB to school proper and the welfare of the said people in school.

The lawmaker who is effectively legislating at the state assembly for his people will be bestowed on the Accolade of “Nigeria Philanthropy Hero of the Year” during the 2019 Nigeria Philanthropy Awards billed to hold in Abuja on 14th September alongside Prince Ned Nwoko, Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo, Distinguished Khalifa Okene, Imam Abdulahi Abubakar, Dr. JS Yusuf and a host of others who have done exceptionally well in seeing to the betterment of Humanity.
