Nigeria Entertainment Merit Award, NEMA which is Nigeria’s most authentic awards for general entertainment is holding its first edition.
Organizers of NEMAwards have announced that its first edition will hold in October, 2018.
The award is honouring the actors in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry irrespective of spheres but the attainment of individuals in the industry over the years.
According to the Team, the gala night will acknowledge both living and the dead legends as Nigeria is in the habit of forgetting great minds after life beyond adding that it is high time the late legends are giving a place for their hard contributions to the growth of the Nigerian Entertainment Industry even though they are no more as well as the living legends who are making Nigeria proud in the international community.
The team stressed that the awards will spread its tentacles to include Movie, Music, Comedy, Dance, DJ, Host, Label, Event Companies, Brands as well as individuals who support and nurture talents with their resources which will actually be the first time in Nigeria that a National award will have all spheres of celebrities under one roof for such recognition.
The 27 Categories Awards will have NEMA Most Promising Talent go home with Brand New Car while each winner receives NEMA Customized plated plaque, and the stamp of excellence from one of Nigeria’s most respected entertainment awards.
