The Kaduna State Government has appealed for calm, following reports of earth tremors in Kwoi, Jaba local government area of the state on Sunday.
The government says it has made a formal report to the appropriate authorities.

Media aide to Kaduna state governor, Samuel Aruwan, says his principal, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has confirmed that the geological and emergency agencies have been duly notified.
Aruwan says the Kaduna State Government is receiving updates from the area.
He notes that steps are being taken to comfort the residents of Kwoi, and assuage their woes as they come to terms with an unusual event.
In the meantime, the Kaduna State Government wants people to desist from spreading unverified information, which is only likely to create panic.
