Indigenes of the Federal Capital Territory ( FCT ) have insisted that they will not take up arms to fight the government in power and called on the FCT minister, Bello Muhammad, to consider the option of integration policy rather than relying on the ressetlement and compensation policy.
Speaking during a news conference in Abuja, the convener of the conference, Rev.Tanko Danjuma, said they can only continue to seek redress and not to follow the line of other states of the federation that “you can not temper with their natural resources and further advised the FCT minister to scrap the current FCDA and relief all directors involved in any forms corrupt activities that led to the fraud that marred the resettlement and compensation of Garki village, Dagbalo, Akpajenya and resettlement communities.
Danjuma therefore, appealed to the minister to visit communities occupied by estate of private individual blocking communities from expansion.
